Spectrum announces Oertli Instruments exit
After many years of distributing the Oertli surgical systems, consumables and associated accessories, Spectrum has taken the decision to exit this segment of our business and will no longer offer any Oertli products. The reasons for this decision are varied and have been taken with the best interests of our customers and our business at the forefront.
Going forward, Birmingham Optical will take on UK distribution of Oertli and customers can expect to hear from them shortly regarding their offering and support. In the meantime, Spectrum will continue to support you as usual. There are two areas where Spectrum will continue to work with customers of Oertli products until further notice.
1. Procedure packs from Spectrum containing an Oertli cassette pack can be purchased as normal. No changes will be made to your pack unless requested by you.
2. Existing service agreements for Oertli systems with Spectrum will continue until the expiration date of the agreement.
For existing orders we will be in contact to discuss transition of these to Birmingham Optical once we have a clearer picture of the arrangements. However, the availability issues that Oertli have now do not appear to be resolving soon.
