Dry Eye Testing Equipment & Treatment
The complete IPL technology for optoms and ophthalmologists to support patients.
Spectrum’s dry eye equipment range enables optometrists to advance from products to services and meet the growing demand for chronic conditions such as Dry Eye Disease (DED).
By complementing existing product business models, or switching strategies from products to services, optometrists can create a model of ’lifetime care’.
Service strategies can increase profitability and lower costs. DED goes together with myopia, with cases forecast to double by 2050. With rising demand, optometrists can focus on helping patients through diagnostics, education and treatment.
Spectrum’s dry eye equipment includes a targeted range of specialised machines, tools and instruments used to diagnose and evaluate dry eye syndrome as well as provide treatment for the common eye, and often under-diagnosed, condition.
Our two dry eye equipment include:
3nethra Classic HD – a specialised dry eye device used for comprehensive eye screening and diagnosis. Developed by Forus Health, a global leader in ophthalmic technology, the dry eye device uses advanced imaging and diagnostic technologies to detect a range of eye conditions and diseases.
OptiClear IPL – a treatment that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to address a range of conditions affecting the eyes, including dry eye syndrome, blepharitis, and meibomian gland dysfunction. The dry eye machine involves using a specialised device that emits a series of short bursts of light onto the surface of the eye. These bursts of light are absorbed by the targeted tissues, triggering a healing response that can alleviate symptoms and improve overall eye health.
