Trifocal IOLS
Trifocal IOLS
Trifocal IOLs (intraocular lenses) are especially indicated for patients who lead a very active life and seek vision independence after the intervention.
Trifocal IOLs use light diffracted to both an intermediate and a near focus. They are designed so that the otherwise wasted light from the intermediate focal point’s second diffractive order strengthens the near focal point.
Trifocal IOLs use advanced optical technology to split light into multiple focal points, allowing patients to see clearly at different distances simultaneously. Trifocal IOLs may be an option for patients with seeking improved visual clarity, but selection should be made case by case to determine patient suitability and goals.
